On 3 October 2019, Professor Emeritus Tibor Várady of the CEU Department of Legal Studies was awarded the Civis Academicus Honoris Causa Prize by the Law School of the University of Szeged.

2018 Master's Graduate Destination Report Out

The Department of Legal Studies wishes to thank all our fresh graduates to took the time to respond to the survey.

The highlights: among fresh graduates 78 % are employed, while 11 % are continuing their studies. Among “employed” respondents, 53% work in business/private sector, 15% in NGOs, 14% in government / public sector, 12% at an educational or research institution, and 6% at an international /multilateral organization. We also learnt that 41% of you decided to pursue an international career, outside your home countries.
