The Department of Legal Studies accepts applications of visiting scholars on an ongoing basis.
Please kindly note that as a self-financed visiting researcher you are not entitled to visit classes at CEU regardless any agreement with professor(s).
We cannot offer funding, however, we provide possibilities to network with other researchers, faculty members and research groups at the Department. We also offer access to the Central European University Library, computer use, and if possible, office space at the Department.
Applicants should have research agendas in subfields relevant to the Department's expertise.
The application package should be contained in one PDF with the following supporting documents:
- Statement of purpose (including planned period of visit)
- Curriculum Vitae
- Contact information of two referees
- Unofficial transcripts or diploma
- Research proposal
