Ioana Stupariu, 2nd year SJD candidate in International Business Law, participated at two conferences last month. Between 22nd and 23rd of September 2016, she participated as a presenter in the Catolica 2016 Graduate Legal Conference, in Lisbon, Portugal, organized by The Research Center for the Future of Law, Católica Law and Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Her paper, “Balancing rights under the new General Data Protection Regulation: who bears the costs of more user control?” was presented in the panel “Balancing in the age of innovation”.

Prof. Judit Sándor participated as a keynote speaker on the European seminar on “Right to the Integrity of the Person, with a particular focus on the field of biology and medicine”. The Seminar was organised in Belgium on October 6-7, 2016 under the EU-CoE Joint Programme HELP in the 28, in collaboration with the Belgium Institute for Judicial Training (IFG-IGO) and, more particularly, the CoE Bioethics Unit.
