Eye-opening experiences and valuable insights into the daily realities of the European Court of Human Rights

The Department of Legal Studies organized the 'Courts in Dialogue' course for Human Rights and Comparative Constitutional Law students for the 8th time in this academic year. The course took place in Strasbourg between November 27 and December 3, 2016 and students had the possibility to spend two days at the European Court of Human Rights and attend a Grand Chamber hearing.

The Department of Legal Studies warm-heartedly congratulates the appointment of dr. Tamás Korhecz as one of the Constitutional Judges of Serbia. Prof. Korhecz – the former chair of the Hungarian National Council in Serbia – has been appointed by the President of Serbia.

Professor Tibor Tajti delivered his insolvency course at China-EU School of Law for the fourth time in this academic year, on December 5-9, 2016. The increased interest for bankruptcy/insolvency in China is due to the rapid growth of both consumer and business indebtedness increasingly leading to financial distress and bankruptcy. CEU is a consortium member of CESL since its foundation in 2008.
