Tibor Várady's book of documentary prose got published in Serbia

Last week Tibor Várady's book of documentary prose got published in Serbia. The title of the book in Serbian original is "Put u juče" (Travel into Yesterday). On October 25 2017 it was presented by the internationally known Croatian writer Miljenko Jergović at the Belgrade Book Fair. 

Csilla Kollonay-Lehoczky Awarded Pro Iure Laboris Prize

Csilla Kollonay-Lehoczky, professor emerita in the Department of Legal Studies at CEU has been awarded the Pro Iure Laboris Prize on occasion of the 14th Hungarian Labour Law Conference held in Visegrad October 10-12. The prize is an acknowledgement of a valuable career contributing to the development and values of labour and employment law.

Kollonay-Lehoczky, former director of the Doctoral Program, has been teaching in the department since 1992. 

CEU Professors and SJDs participate in AmCham event on Corporate Compliance

Prof. Judit Sandor participated at the landmark initiative on the formulation of new human rights in the twenty-first century. This plan was launched within the HURMUR Project.  (“HURMUR: Human rights – mutually raising excellence” project.) Since the end of the 20th century, human rights discourse has brought up a sizeable number of “new” human rights.
