Departmental Coffee House - Meet Your Alumni, May 12

The Department of Legal Studies organizes its annual Departmental Coffee House within the framework of the Alumni Reunion Weekend 2017. At the Coffee House students can meet alumni of our department.

The Coffee House takes place on May 12, 2017 at 5:00 pm.

The book Security Rights and the European Insolvency Regulation (edited by Profs. Gerard McCormack and Reinhard Bork, published: Intersentia – Cambridge-Antwerp-Portland) appeared on the market in April 2017. The book is the outcome of two years of cooperative effort by a project team made up of researchers from five European universities, co-funded by the Civil Justice Programme of the European Union.

CEU Completes Its Participation in the 2017 Vis Moot

This year, CEU continued its long tradition of participation in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. The Moot, which takes place in Vienna, is the world’s largest moot competition, attracting participants from more than 300 law schools from around the globe every year. The CEU team comprised four LL.M. students (Tamuna Beridze, Yuliya Edlina, Alexander Mzhelskiy, and Radu Somlea), and was coached by two senior SJD Candidates (Wasiq Dar and Boris Prastalo).
