Participation at the 2019 Vienna Human Rights Model United Nations

On 11th April 2019, eight students from the Human Rights LLM and MA Programs at CEU’s Department of Legal Studies participated in the Vienna Human Rights Model United Nations (MUN), a simulated session of the UN Human Rights Council, organized by the University of Vienna and the Academic Council on the United Nations System. The event took place at the Vienna International Centre, the campus and building complex hosting the United Nations Office in Vienna.

The book of our Alumnus, Sanford U. Mba has recently been published by Springer. The over 300-page book is titled “New Financing for Distressed Businesses in the Context of Business Restructuring Law”. The book draws from his doctoral dissertation which borders key business law areas of corporate insolvency (bankruptcy) law and the legal aspects of corporate finance in the context of distressed borrowing.
