CEU Summer University Call for Applications 2022

CEU SUN is a program for advanced undergrads, graduate students, postdocs, junior faculty, and researchers, as well as professionals who wish to upgrade their knowledge in a variety of areas in the social sciences and humanities, gain applied skills and build interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral networks. The courses, offered for one or two weeks in June and July on CEU’s Budapest campus, are taught by international teams of scholars and practitioners, and use CEU’s state-of-the-art academic resources and facilities.

This article published in STELLENBOSCH LAW REVIEW (2021)32:2, is a critique of the recent business/debt restructuring mechanisms that were introduced under the Nigerian Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020, and under the Kenyan Insolvency Act 2015. In many respects, these reformed laws are arguably overbearing for small businesses especially in the context of the pandemic.
