Milanka Kostadinova is a Team Leader/Senior Counsel in charge of the Institutional Affairs Team at the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID).  In this capacity she works on membership related issues and provides support to the ICSID Administrative Council and the Secretary-General in discharge of official functions under the ICSID Convention. In addition to her work on institutional matters, Ms. Kostadinova administers a number of international investment cases.  She served as Managing Editor of the ICSID Review – Foreign Investment Law Journal for six years (2003 – 2008) and as a member of the Editorial Board (1997- 2003). Prior to joining ICSID, she held government and other positions in Bulgaria in Varna Province (1989 – 1990), Bulgargeomin (1985 – 1989), and served as an administrative law judge (1979 – 1985). Ms. Kostadinova holds degrees from American University Washington College of Law (LL.M.) and Sofia University Law School (LL.B.).
