The Department of Legal studies is thrilled to announce a new collaboration with the University of Copenhagen and the Geneva Graduate Institute. Together, the three universities will host an online course on Social Science Methods for Interdisciplinary Legal Studies during the Winter and Spring Terms of 2025. The course seeks to expose early doctoral candidates to a wide array of methodologies that draw from the social sciences to enrich legal research and give doctoral dissertations an interdisciplinary spin. Each methodology will be explained in an interactive way by a qualified instructor from a collaborating university. Not only will the course expand the horizon of legal researchers – it will also give them an opportunity to interact with peers and faculty across institutions.
