As part of the ongoing ‘Capital Markets and Securities Regulation’ course of Professor Tibor Tajti, a visit to the Vienna Stock Exchange was organized by our Department on 17th of April 2023. The visit included a presentation coupled with discussions on numerous topics on the Vienna Stock Exchange by Mr. Andreas Weixelbaumer, member of the sales and development team: from the brief history and setup of the SE through insights into the main activity forms (data vending and indices) and products of the Exchange. We would like to express our gratitude to Mr. Weixelbaumer for the insightful event and to Ms. Celine Spitzer (public affairs and financial literacy team) for the organization of the visit – planned to be repeated in the future as well.
