It is the privilege and honor of the Department of Legal Studies of Central European University to let our community know that Emeritus Professor Károly Bárd was awarded the prestigious prize of ‘Best Monograph in Legal Theory’ for his work titled ‘Az áldozatok méltósága és a vádlottak jogai’ (Victims’ dignity and the rights of criminal defendants) at the 2nd Hungarian Book Salon held in Budapest on 17th of September 2022. Congratulations for the achievement, Professor Bárd!
