Kristóf is a former student of the MA Human Rights program. As a special-needs educator, he pursued his studies in human rights law to learn more about disability rights. Kristóf now works for the Hungarian Civil Liberties Union as a disability rights advocate. He fights for the rights of people with disabilities and their families through awareness-raising, strategic litigation, and advocacy. He holds training sessions on legal capacity and guardianship regimes. He is actively involved in bringing cases before Hungarian and international authorities to promote the recognition of the decision-making capacities of disabled people and to work towards their social inclusion. Kristóf is committed to speaking up for inclusive education, community-based psychiatry, and independent living for all, both at the national and international level. He recommends the Human Rights programs at CEU to anyone who feels passionate about human rights and wants to challenge structural injustices.
