Boris Praštalo, a CEU alumnus (SJD in Department of Legal Studies '19), recently published his book: Uniformity in the Application of the CISG: Analysis of the Problem and Recommendations for the Future with Wolters Kluwer.
Boris completed the manuscript for the book in 2019 as part of his doctoral studies at CEU under the supervision of Prof. Markus Petsche. He successfully defended his dissertation in April 2019, and was awarded the grade summa cum laude by the committee comprised of Markus Petsche (Associate Professor, CEU), Tibor Várady (Professor Emeritus, CEU and Emory University), and Lisa Spagnolo (Senior Lecturer, Monash University).
The book explores theoretical and practical aspects of uniformity in the application of the UN Convention on the International Sale of Goods, analyzing the causes of the lack of uniform application as well as implemented and potential tools to tackle this issue.
We extend sincere congratulations to Boris for this achievement, and wish him much success in his future endeavors.
