On 3 October 2019, Professor Emeritus Tibor Várady of the CEU Department of Legal Studies was awarded the Civis Academicus Honoris Causa Prize by the Law School of the University of Szeged.
The Prize recognizes Professor Várady’s professional and academic work, his promotion and support of cooperation between the Law Schools of Szeged and Novi Sad, and his close professional and institutional relationship with the Faculty of the University of Szeged Faculty of Law.
The Department of Legal Studies is proud of Professor Várady’s achievements and warmly congratulates him on his receipt of this prestigious award.
