Professor Tibor Tajti delivered a series of lectures on the impact of technology on access to law, business format franchise, the second chance bankruptcy philosophy, as well as pyramid and Ponzi schemes at the University of Mandalay’s Department of Law on 5-9 August 2019 in Myanmar. During his visit, he also held discussions with the faculty on the modernization of the business-related aspects of the legal curriculum.
CEU’s Department of Legal Studies has been collaborating with the University of Mandalay and the University of Yangon for several years. As part of this ongoing collaboration, Professor Tajti has hosted three junior faculty members from these universities. His visit continues this fruitful series of exchanges.
