Public Lecture on the 'Internet of Things (IoT)'

On January 26, 2017, the CEU Department of Legal Studies in collaboration with Explico Tech organized a lecture on the Internet of Things (IoT) Revolution, delivered by the Head of Explico Tech, Máté Mester, a regulatory expert lawyer with over 10 years of experience in the field of technology, media and telecommunications. This lecture is reflective of the Department’s recent efforts to strengthen cooperation with the business sector, in an attempt to multiply professional opportunities for its students. Mr. Mester, besides explaining what exactly the Internet of Things is and why it is a revolutionary phenomenon, focused also on what legal and technical challenges might foreseeably appear with the use of IoT devices. Explico Tech is a Budapest-based regulatory and public policy consultancy firm for the tech industry.
