Gerard McCormack is Professor of International Business Law at the University of Leeds in the UK.  He is presently Principal Investigator on a European Union funded project 'Security Rights and the European Insolvency Regulation' that also involves collaborators from Germany, Hungary, Italy and Spain.  He has published extensively particularly in the fields of Credit and Insolvency Law and has given expert evidence on these matters to courts and tribunals.
