The participants will discuss and share their experiences on the segregation of Roma children in education and measures taken so far to end this practice.  A draft country strategy to tackle segregation in each of the partner countries has already been developed by CFCF together with its partners which will be discussed during the workshop and a final version of the country strategy will be adopted. The structure of the country strategies include: a short description of the Roma population, the organization of education and maintenance of schools, relevant legal provisions, the types of segregation and discrimination Roma children suffer, national measures aimed at desegregation, relevant jurisprudence, legal and community action planned to end segregation.
