The Global Financial Crisis and the Credit Rating Agencies' Accountability

Professor Mauro Bussani is Full Professor of Comparative Law at the University of Trieste, Italy, and Scientific Director of the International Associations of Legal Sciences, UNESCO. In 1994 Prof. Bussani co-founded the ‘Common Core of European Private Law’ project, whose results are collected in volumes which are published by Cambridge University Press (Cambridge, UK) in a specific autonomous series under the title of “The Common Core Project of European Private Law”. Prof. Bussani has authored or co-authored 20 books and more than 100 articles (some of them are published/translated in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese) and has lectured in some of the most prominent academic institutions and universities around the world.
