CEU Department of Economics and Business Program hosts AmCham Corporate Board Simulation

On Thursday, 9 November 2017 students from CEU’s International Business Law program as well as from the CEU Business School participated in a Corporate Board Simulation conducted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Hungary (AmCham). The Simulation was presented by a group of practicing lawyers and businesspersons from AmCham, and continues the increasing cooperation between CEU IBL and AmCham Hungary. The Corporate Board Simulation focused on the problems faced by a small-scale family enterprise dealing with R&D delays, related party transactions, capital shortfalls, and the demands of investors. Audience members participated by voting on questions posed to the board, and in discussions with the board members on the isss raised during the simulation.
