A new issue of the Lawyr.it magazine has been published on March 1, 2017. Lawyr.it, a project supported by our department, is a peer-reviewed legal journal focused on law students from Central and Eastern European countries. Considering that the young minds of law students coming from all over the region can offer a fresh perspective and valuable solutions to different legal issues, Lawyr.it provides a platform for students from the region to share their ideas, access exciting opportunities and develop various skills through their website and magazine.
The Department of Legal Studies is glad to have several of its students involved in the project. The new issue has been edited under the supervision of Radu Somlea, IBL LLM student, who is a co-Managing Editor since the Fall of 2016. Albana Karapanco, 1st year SJD Candidate in International Business Law, is also involved in multiple research projects as a Legal Researcher, working on the Legal Dictionary as well as the Masters Abroad projects. One of the founding members of the project, Ioana Stupariu, 2nd year SJD Candidate in International Business Law, is now the President of the Lawyr.it Board, coordinating the project's development strategy and Lawyr.it members' personal development through trainings and coaching.
