Sanford U. Mba's (S.J.D candidate) article published in a Nigerian leading daily 'Thisday'

September 14, 2016

The Nigerian economy is presently in recession. Incidentally, the country is also undertaking business insolvency law reforms. Sanford U. Mba (S.J.D. Candidate), in a recently published opinion argues that - like many countries that have undertaken insolvency law reforms -  the present economic circumstances present an important opportunity for policy/law makers in the country to pursue the much needed reforms. He further draws a parallel between the post-2008 EU economy and Nigeria's present situation, arguing for a preventive rehabilitation regime for distressed businesses.
