Before starting her doctoral studies, Neada Mullalli was working as a Legal Advisor for governmental institutions, as well as private corporations. Her latest position was that of Legal Advisor for the U.S Modernization Team, attached to the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Albania. Ms. Mullalli obtained her Bachelor in Law degree from the University of Tirana, Albania, and her Second Level Integrated Diploma in Economics and Agricultural Policies, from the Agricultural University of Tirana. She also holds a Master’s degree in International Business Law (LLM) from the Central European University. Currently, she is writing her thesis in the field of bankruptcy law, with focus on the statutory approach to sovereign debt restructuring. In addition to bankruptcy law, her areas of interest include company law, international financial law, secured transactions law and intellectual property law. Ms. Mullalli speaks Albanian (mother tongue), English (fully proficient), Italian (fully proficient) and French (advanced knowledge).
